What Three Japanese Sports Cars Should You Buy Now?

Thursday, Oct 10, 2013

It started as a thought exercise: If you could buy three (and only three) iconic but relatively accessible Japanese sports cars from the 1990s and 2000s, what would they be? We figure that was at least worth yammering on about for 30 minutes or so.

This week on AFTER/DRIVE, /DRIVE’s podcast-like talking-cars show, Mike and Zac from Classic Car Club Manhattan return to talk Japanese sports cars everyone must own — while, inexplicably, sitting in a ’71 Ford Bronco.

Sure, there were tons of selections we missed, but that’s the point of a thought exercise — to think about it. What do you guys think? Which accessible Japanese sports car from that era would you buy tomorrow if you could?

On a side note, one /DRIVE viewer sent us a video of his new Acura NSX, which he bought after watching another one of our prior talkies, called “You Need To Buy An Acura NSX Right Now.”
