M3 Duality: Which Would You Choose?

Saturday, Sep 28, 2013

One of our members picked up the Gallardo Spyder yesterday and left his very clean, mostly stock, 80k mile E30 M3 in the garage for the weekend. I couldn’t help but line our E30 up next to it and make some comparisons. Follow CCC on TWITTER, FACEBOOK, and Instagram (@CCCmanhattan)

Driving & Talking: 1989 BMW M3

Friday, Sep 27, 2013

I’ve been driving this M3 as much as possible for roughly the last year (or as much as my bosses will let me) and I’ve finally collected my thoughts enough to talk some sense (and a lot of nonsense) about one of the greatest cars ever built. ALSO: I forgot to strap the shoulder harnesses back in

Driving & Talking: ’06 Corvette Z06

Comparing a 7 year old Corvette to a brand new 911 seems a bit ridiculous, so I did it.   Follow CCC on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram (@CCCmanhattan)

One of our members has this super sexy wide-body 993 he was giving us rides in; the dish is deep on the wheels and the flat six positively roars.   Follow CCC on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram (@CCCmanhattan)

The Friendliest Franken-BMW Around

Wednesday, Aug 28, 2013

We call this blippy little rasp-burble delight the “M2”. It rolled off the line in Munich as a 2002 tii in 1974 but a lot has changed since then; the Berlin Wall fell, the Soviet Union collapsed, and this 2002 only got better. Turbo style fenders and deck-lid trunk spoiler, grey-black paint job (as seen

Mastering 40 Inches of Fury

Saturday, Aug 24, 2013

When the name “Ferrari” is batted around, specific images instantly come to mind. For most, it’s that hue of Cora Rossa red or the thundering velocity stacks of the open wheeled racers of the 50’s. But for me, I think of something different. I think of the Ford GT40 – the car that was conceived

1974 Brumos Porsche 911 – Available September

Friday, Aug 23, 2013

A “fast car” means different things to different people. Heavily worked muscle cars from the 60’s can be fast in a quarter mile straight line but only have a 125mph top speed, demonstrating that getting there quickly is a form of fast, while a clapped-out four-wheel drive Subaru is exceptionally quick on gravely back roads.

Up Close & Personal With The Most Meta Range Rover

Wednesday, Aug 07, 2013

A $135,000 Range Rover? Sounds like crazy talk, I know, especially when it’s called the “Autobiography”. What, is it gonna record everything I do in it? Or can I dictate my memoirs to it? That could be interesting, or extremely damning… Just like a new Jag, the gear selector raises out of the console like
